Who doesn’t love a good slushy cocktail to enjoy on a hot summers day? We know we are HUGE fans of them. So we figured we would include a few hot tips on how to turn this amazing cocktail into a slush. You will need a couple cups of crushed ice to mix in with your drink, if you are worried about watering down you drink simply increase your amounts. You can also freeze your blueberry juice instead and crush it up before mixing in your other ingredients. both methods will make a delicious slush to enjoy with friends!
Blueberry Thyme Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 oz blueberry juice
- 1 sprig fresh thyme
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup (optional)
- 2 oz vodka
- club soda
- sprig of thyme and fresh blueberries for garnish
Instructions
- In a tall glass, combine the leaves from one sprig of thyme and the lemon juice and muddle to release the flavors. If you want to release a lot of flavor, let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Thyme leaves are much more difficult to muddle than the classic mint or basil, due to their size.
