Are you looking for a recipe that will serve multiple people? I always hate when I have company coming over, but I can only find cocktails for 1 person or one cocktail. Like who is going to only drink one cocktail anyways?! This Boozy Watermelon Lemonade makes 8 servings! It’s great for small get togethers, but can easily be doubled for a larger crowd.
Boozy Watermelon Lemonade Ingredients
You won’t have to search all over for ingredients either! The ingredients for this recipe are pretty basic. Here’s what you need:
- 8 cups fresh watermelon
- 1 cup vodka
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (approx. 6 to 8 medium lemons)
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 cups of ice cubes
- Water (may be needed depending on quality of watermelon)
How much Water Should I Use?
As you can see, you may need to add some water to your recipe if you didn’t get enough water from your watermelons or lemons. You don’t want to add too much water where it will be watered down, but you also don’t want to only taste the alcohol. Once you blend all your ingredients, if you don’t have a full pitcher, add enough water to fill the pitcher up.
Can I use Pre-made Lemon Juice?
Absolutely! I find that fresh is always better, but if you are anything like me, you don’t want to juice 6 to 8 lemons just to get 1 cup of lemon juice. So, you can use 1 cup of pre-made lemon juice instead. If the lemon juice is already sweetened, you won’t want to add the sugar. Additionally, you could use pre-made lemonade which already has sugar.Â
Our Latest VideosWhat Vodka Should I Use in My Boozy Watermelon Lemonade?
Since this is a cocktail, you don’t have to have top of the line Vodka. If you have a brand or type of vodka that you prefer, use that. Additionally, you could add more flavor to your cocktail by using various flavored vodkas.
If you want more of a watermelon flavor, you can get Smirnoff Watermelon Vodka. But, if you want more of a lemonade flavor, you can use Absolut Citron Vodka.
Try both, switch it up, or just use regular vodka. Either way, your cocktail will be phenomenal.

Boozy Watermelon Lemonade Notes
Keep these notes in mind as you make your cocktails.
- Depending on the time of year that you decide to make this drink, you may need to add a bit of extra water to process your mix. We’ve found the watermelons to be much dryer heading towards the winter months.
- If you choose to garnish your glasses, don’t forget to put aside a few watermelon and lemon slices.
Other Cocktails to Try
