What Wine Goes With Cranberry and Cheese?

Since keeping it simple is the theme of our spread, we’ll give you a more general recommendation to use to make your decision. For your white wine loving friends, a Riesling will fit the bill very nicely! The subtle fruit tones and touch of dryness make way for the dried cranberries and fermented foods like cheeses. Red wine fanatics on the other hand will be perfectly at home with a Cabernet Sauvignon, its cherry and spice palate blends wonderfully with the acidity it offers to compliment the cranberry and envelope most cheeses. This selection will provide a nice choice for your guests if you’re not quite sure what they’ll like, too! If you do want to work on your cheese expertise, check out our favorite culinary program.
