Neighborhood Cellar

Neighborhood Cellar is one of Dallas’s hottest wine bars! It’s a wine retail and bar located in the Bishop Arts district just southwest of Dallas. Styled very modern, with an outdoor area to enjoy on a nice day this Wine bar is a great location to hang with your friends. Not only can you enjoy a large menu of different wines you can also order online and either pick up or have it delivered to your home!

Another really cool perk the Neighborhood cellar offers is their monthly wine club, which varies in cost from $25 to $85 dollars a month, depending on the number of wine bottles you want. You can select if you prefer red, white, rose, or sparkling or have it be assorted. Each subscription comes with some a few goodies and a 10 percent discount in their store. Perfect for a nice gift to someone or treating yourself! If you are curious about food options, check out their month calendar! They post which food trucks will be parked outside for you to grab a bite while enjoying your wine.

Recommendations: Beside their monthly wine club, I highly suggest checking out their amazing menu of wines they have to offer. One in particular that’s really good if you are a fan of rose is their christina ‘rosè’, weinland 2022.

Sixty Vines

With over 60 wines on tap and located in the heart of uptown Dallas, Sixty Vines is a must stop when traveling in Dallas. It has a rustic yet modern look and feel to it making it a cozy place to dine and sip wine. They offer private tastings, so if you plan to stop here call ahead a book a private room. Not only do you get to taste many different wines but they also have an amazing menu that comes along with it.

Recommendations: I highly recommend trying their Lanson, Le black label brut Champagne when you hit this spot up! For food the Fig & Prosciutto pizza is a must try! It has an amazing white sauce, mozzarella, honey, arugula, and sesame seeds. If you are more of a meat and cheese person with wine they offer amazing Board. You get to select the meat and cheese from their menu and the chefs adds a few items. Great option if you plan to share.

CRU Food & Wine Bar

CRU Food & Wine bar has many locations but one of their highest rated locations is in Dallas! Nestles just two blocks south from Oaklawn and the Katy Trail. It offers a very relaxed feel making it the perfect place to hit up with friends to enjoy some drinks and amazing food. They offer both a Brunch and Dinner menu. have happy hours, Sunday brunches, Pizza Mondays, and my personal favorite: Champagne Thursdays.

Recommendations: If you plan to hit up this wine bar i highly suggest going on a Thursday is possible! It’s their champagne night! 4pm until they close all champagne bottles are 50 percent off. They offer a wide variety of cheese boards to choose from which are nice if you are in a group setting, if you are looking for more of a couples date night I highly recommend the truffle cheese fondue! AMAZING. As for a meal the New Zealnad Lamb Lllipops are a must try. As for something sweet…they have chocolate fondue for two, need I say more!

Leela’s Wine Bar

Leela’s wine bar has such a friendly and warm atmosphere! It’s marketed as your neighborhood wine bar. Not only does it serve a great variety of wines on tap but they also have cocktails, salads, and delicious pizzas! (and so much more). You may have noticed I mentioned wine is served on tap, not by bottle like most wine bars. So why on tap? Well Leela’s is all about less waste! Tap wine means less bottles, less waste, and more consistent quality! Leela’s wine bar also has three great locations so be sure to select he one closest to you!

Recommendations: The Mac and Cheese Board is a must try when checking out Leela’s wine bar. It features house pimento, manchego, whie dublin cheddar, prosciutto, salametto pincant, salame toscano, house pickles, fruit, and amazing pizza crust crackers. Pair this amazing board with their Brut Rose Champagne and you have the perfect combo.

Stoney’s Wine Lounge

Fun fact about Stoney’s Wine Lounge, it’s the Longest running, independently owned wine venue in Dallas! Which is an amazing accomplishment and makes you realize that this place MUST be amazing to have that title, and it truly is. They have tons of music events happening each week so you should plan to attend on of those! Another great perk to this place is you can order wines online from them, so if you end up getting hooked on their wines you can easily order some at home.

Recommendation: Their cheese and fruit boards are to die for! You can select three delicious cheese to go with seasonal fresh fruit – and its FRESH! Which makes it even better. For cheese we could select from the following: Maytag Bleu, Ilchester Double Gloucester Cheddar, Vermont Cabot Cheddar, French Double Crème Brie, Goat Cheese, and Manchego – Spain. For wine we really enjoyed their Fire Road Sauvignon Blanc! It was brimming with pink grapefruit flavors with paired so well with the cheese and fruit board.

Trova Wine + Market

A cozy, stylish, Dallas wine shop and bar that sells wines from all over the world as well as some local wines. You will also find some artisanal food here as well. Their menu is a very chef-driven menu that has both small plates, original sandwiches, and of course cheese boards that you can match perfectly with the bottle of wine you select.

Recommendations: Truffle fries and their fried goat cheese! Their truffle fries have amazing white truffle, parmesan and aioli on them, pair that with their down right delicious fried goat cheese with fresh chevre, truffle honey, and pistachio. SO good. When it comes to wine ask about their monthly bubbly special!
