Del Vino Vineyards

Located in Northport, Long Island, Del Vino Vineyards has over 100 years of wine-making experience, passed down through the Giachetti family.  The family has traced their wine-origin back to Italy, where King Fernando enjoyed their wine so much, he had them ferment their blends to be used for the royal family.  

The family believes the perfect climate, sun exposure, soil, and slopes of their 11-acre property creates the perfect conditions for growing grapes that produce their finest wines.  Many have fallen in love with their wines, as well as the atmosphere of their tasting room, and the friendliness and knowledge of their workers.   

Del Vino Vineyards also has many wonderful Italian dishes, that with their wines, are made complete.  If your not a wine enthusiast, not to worry, they offer several craft beers brewed from Harbor Head Brewing Company, based in Northport, you are sure to enjoy.  This is a wine experience you don’t want to miss.       

Sannino Vineyard

In regional competitions, and by popular wine advocates, Sannino Vineyard has won several awards for their unique wines.

Their wine tasting room, located in a historic rustic barn, opens up to the view of their vineyard, giving a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine.

With a maritime climate, glacial soil, and moderate rainfall for their 3 vineyard sites of more than 40 acres, Sparkling Pointe has the perfect conditions for grape-growing along the Atlantic Ocean.  Their wines have been highly-esteemed as some of the best wines in the region.    

Their winery is no less impressive with their 30,000 gallon fermentation tanks that can make 3,000 bottles of wine an hour.  They also have a 1,700 gallon reserve room where their wine is aged in french oak barrels, and stainless steel drums. Their entire facilities can be toured along with wine tastings in a social, beautiful setting perfect for any venue.     

Bedell Cellars

Served at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, Bedell Cellars wines have been made in small batches  with utmost care for over 35 years. Every step is meticulously done by hand and one of the only wineries in the world that ferments with 100% naturally occurring indigenous yeasts.    

Bedell Cellars is family-owned and currently ran by Ninah Lynne, wife and mother of Michael and Johnathan Lynne, whom both passed away in 2019.  Ninah is continuing the wine legacy and committed to continuing their critically-acclaimed wines for the enjoyment of others.  

Wolffer Estate Vineyard

Since 1988, Wolffer Estate Vineyard has been known as one of the finest producers of wine on the east coast. Their vineyards today have grown to over 470 acres, located all over the world in places like Argentina, Spain, and other places in New York and Long Island.    

They make many premium, distinctive wines, rose’s, along with Ciders, and gin.  Their location along the Atlantic Ocean helps create the perfect grape with ripeness and acidity.

The history of wine-making in the Macari family runs back to the 30’s where Joseph Macari Sr. began growing grapes in his basement in Queens, New York.  He moved to Long Island where he bought a 500 acre potato farm, and his son began his dream of growing grapes in 1995.

In the past few years, Macari Vineyards have won several awards for their delicious, balanced, and well blended wines. While you enjoy a flight of their best wines, try some of their artisan cheeses that compliment and bring out the flavor in their tasty wine.

Channing Daughters Winery takes pride in using over 2 dozen varieties of grapes to produce their many varieties of premium wines.Their main concern is producing quality in every drop that goes into their bottles.  

They have maintained the traditional approach to wine-making, everything done by hand, even down to the boot stomping to squish the juice from their grapes.  They use a number of different oak barrels for the aging process including, French, American, Hungarian, and Slovenian barrels that each bring distinctive flavors and age to make each wine unique.  

Their winery has a small wine-tasting area with a great atmosphere and friendly workers to help you enjoy your experience and sample some of the finest wines in the region.
