Premium Black Vodka

Have you heard about Premium Black Vodka? It’s exactly what you would think it is based on the name: Vodka that is black!

This dramatically dark vodka makes the perfect mix for Halloween inspired drinks, themed drinks, or just for fun! Imagine asking your friends to do a shot of vodka and handing them black vodka.

What makes it black? It starts out just like every other vodka, it is triple-distilled, double-filtered grain vodka. To create the dramatic black color they infuse it with black catechu bark. Native to Asia, the tree is sourced for all sorts of uses, including as a food additive and natural dye. Pretty cool!

Does it taste different? The taste is exactly like regular clear vodka, some people note a slight underlying herbal finish not found in most clear vodkas. 

Can You Make it a Spooky Mocktail?

Of course! Having the option to have an all age friendly drink is always a must! Especially when having company over.

To turn our Black Magic Mocktail into a mocktail you need to omit the premium black vodka. All other ingredients will remain the same for this mocktail.

Replacing you vodka: Because this recipe calls for black vodka you don’t want to replace this with just soda water or a clear colored juice. You need something that will create the dark color that makes this drink special. We suggest using a dark juice like grape, blackberry or you can grab your juice of choice and add a few drops of food coloring to it. You can go the non-alcoholic vodka route but again, add some food coloring so you still get the black look.

Black Magic Cocktail Recipe

• Yield: 1 serving

• Total Time: 2 min

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Premium Black Vodka
• 3 oz Sprite
• 1 oz Lime Juice, fresh squeezed
• 2 tsp. Edible gold luster dust
• Optional Garnish: Cherries.

Instructions:

1. Fill your glass with ice.
2. In a bar shaker add the vodka, lime juice, Sprite, and gold luster.
3. Shake to combine.
4. Fill your glass with ice.
5. Pour your liquor mix into the glass.
6. Garnish and enjoy
