Make it a Non-Alcoholic Beach Waves Mocktail

Make a splash with all your guests by having a Beach Waves Mocktail option available. We have two options for turning this cocktail into a mocktail.

First option if you are planning to have underage guests consider swapping out your Blue curacao with any blue juice such as blueberry juice. You want to stick with the fun color for this drink. Replace your coconut rum with coconut water. This will create a nice tropical drink young guests can enjoy.

If you want a mocktail option for adults who aren’t drinking for personal reasons consider swapping out your Blue Curacao and coconut rum with a splash of bitters, 2 oz of molasses, a dash of vanilla extract, and lastly 1 oz of coconut water. To get the blue color you will need to add some blue juice or blue food coloring. Molasses is an excellent replacement for rum that will help create similar flavor profiles. If you would rather skip the molasses you can look for a non-alcoholic rum and add coconut water and a splash of bitters.

Don’t be afraid to experiment and make your mocktail your own! Enjoy!

What Sparkling Water Can I Use?

When it comes to adding sparkling water you can use any type: lemon, lime, cherry, and the list goes on. We used orange to enhance the citrus flavors! But any citrus sparkling water will work.

You can find these at any store or you can use a sodastream if you have to make your own. If you choose to make your own just add a splash of flavor or fruit of choice.

If you want to add more of a tropical twist to this drink, cut up some fresh orange slices, lemons, limes, pineapple, and even some maraschino cherries to add to your drink. Not only will they add some flavor but they make a tasty treat after your drink is done.

You can also use frozen fruit to add to your drink as well, this will keep your drink extra cold and the flavor will slowly infuse into the drink as they thaw. There’s so many options on how to enhance your drink, don’t be afraid to be creative!
