Moscow mules are a vodka based cocktail with ginger beer in it and a splash of lime in them. They are served in copper mugs, giving them their signature look. These delicious cocktails have been around since the early 1940’s and are still considered one of the most popular drinks. We’ve taken this classic cocktail and added a twist by adding some delicious blueberry juice to it! Trust us, the ginger beer and blueberry form the perfect flavor you NEED to try today.

Why Copper Mugs?

Besides making a cocktail look snazzy a copper mug serves an important purpose. Copper mugs actually help enhance the flavors of Moscow mules. The cold metals of this mug help keep the ginger beer cold and refreshing help bring the flavors out as you sip and enjoy your drink. Some experts even say the copper mugs help bring out the individual flavors of vodka, lime, and ginger beer.

Copper mugs require to be stores in a dry place, to help prevent tarnishing. If you find your cups getting tarnish use a little lemon and baking soda. It’s recommended once a mug is fully dry to even place them in a zip up bag to keep moisture out. Make sure you hand wash them only! Never put them in a dish washer.
