What Can You Use Instead of Kiwi Sparkling V8

If you are unable to find strawberry kiwi sparkling V8 never fear! Simply use regular soda water and add kiwi or strawberry flavors. Or you can use juice as a substitution, what’s great about this option is strawberry and kiwi juice is super easy to find in stores.

Keep in mind juice is a lot sweeter and you won’t need to add much, if you do go the juice route experiment with flavors first before deciding how much juice to add to your sparkling water.

Can I Use Frozen Fruit?

When it comes to adding fruit you can also use frozen fruits as your garnish. This will also help keep your shooters nice and cold, though we don’t expect these delicious shooters to last long! Frozen fruit is always a great option and easy to have on hand without worrying about keeping it fresh until your big party.

You can also bring out your frozen fruit prior to your event and allow it to thaw before. If you only have regular vodka on hand, again just add some strawberry flavor instead.

This recipe can easily have substitutions as long as you have your strawberry and kiwi flavors! Don’t be afraid to experiment.

Non-Alcoholic Version

Whether you are having a cocktail or a shooter, having the option of a non-alcoholic version is always a great idea. To turn our strawberry kiwi shooters into non-alcoholic shooters, omit your strawberry vodka.

If you are looking to keep the flavor of vodka you can purchase a bottle of non-alcoholic vodka and add a dash of strawberry flavoring or juice to it.

If the goal is to have kid friendly shooters we recommend replacing the strawberry vodka with strawberry juice. This creates a fruit packed shooter anyone can enjoy. You can also consider taking fresh strawberries and blending them for your kid-friendly version as well instead of juice.
