Deliciously Alcoholic Drinks You Can Make In Your Vitamix This Weekend
Now normally when I think a Vitamix, I think green smoothies and nut milk.
However, there are SO many fun and delicious alcoholic drinks you can make in your Vitamix. I mean, you paid a lot of many for that blender, what better excuse to whip up some tasty, frozen beverages!
When I envision “smoky” recipes, I think meats and chowder. However, smoky flavor and sweet mango can totally go together. This smoky mango margarita combines Mezcal, which is traditionally produced using volcanic rock in an earthen pit, tequila, fresh mango, and fresh lime juice. Get extra fancy and pick up some smoked sea salt to rim the glass with!
This fun layered drink is perfect for a hot summer day! You need a light hand to delicately layer this drink, but it will be well worth it! The mango layer has fresh mango, lime, tequila, and Cointreau while the strawberry layer has fresh strawberries, strawberry liquor, tequila, and fresh lime juice. Top off with a slice of lime and fresh strawberries for a sweet treat.
The perfect drink for summer to sip poolside or while playing a game of giant Jenga! A light and refreshing drink for all berry lovers. This brightly colored cocktail uses sparkling water, not only refreshing but low in calories so you don’t have to worry about ruining that summer bod! Toss the berries and vodka into your Vitamix, then top with some fancy sparkling water.
Watermelon is a summer essential just about anywhere. It’s such a light and refreshing ingredient and goes great with so many flavors, like mint, lime and of course, rum! Simply blend together some frozen watermelon cubes, lime juice, agave, and your favorite rum. Blend and top with a lime wedge for garnish.
This is a perfect drink to whip up during strawberry season. This recipe is a little different than other frozen strawberry daiquiri recipes that you may have come across, it combines both fresh and frozen strawberries for a sweet and beautifully textured drink. Add in some Grand Marnier and rum and you have THE BEST frozen daiquiri around all your friends will be begging you for the recipe!
It’s considered healthy if it’s made with whole fruits right? Well, that’s what we can tell ourselves. If you have been holding off using your Vitamix (for whatever reason), this is a great first recipe to try out! A very easy recipe to make, you probably already have all the ingredients in your kitchen. Oranges, lemons, limes, tequila, Grand Marnier, sugar, and ice! You’re gonna want to break out your cutest margarita glasses for this one!
Although technically the original recipe is not a cocktail, simply add a little (or a lot) of Limoncello and you have yourself a frozen lemonade cocktail. You could use store bought frozen lemonade or get fancy and make your own frozen lemonade.
This recipe calls for rhubarb liquor, which you can get at the store or make your own. You can make a rhubarb liquor be steeping raw rhubarb in Everclear and adding simple syrup. Add in some fresh strawberries and ice and you have a cocktail that screams it’s time for summer! This is THE drink to should serve if you are having a summer garden party and picking strawberries and rhubarb!
You know what makes wine even better? Freezing it and adding sugar and strawberries! A beautiful drink to make when your friends come over that they will think you spent hours on! Fancy wine glasses mandatory!
Ready to sip on some sunshine, then this frozen peach margarita is just what you need! This is such an incredibly easy recipe that you will make again and again, simply toss all of your ingredients in the blender, peaches, lime juice, tequila, Cointreau, honey, and ice, and blend! Pour in a salt-rimmed glass and garnish with a sprig of mint.
Irish creams are normally synonymous with chocolate and caramel; creamy drinks that are sure to ruin any diet. However, this tropical Baileys colada will have you hearing the waves on a distant beach. This smooth and creamy (tropical) drink combines Piña colada mix, Irish cream, dark rum, banana, and fresh pineapple. Don’t forget to top with cherries and a tiny umbrella.
A bellini traditionally calls for sparkling white wine, this cocktail kicks it up a notch and adds some peach schnapps and peach puree. This is a fun and sophisticated drink perfect to serve with a fresh fruit plate.
Moscato is one of those wines that goes good with everything! Strawberries, apple, and of course, peaches. This is probably the easiest recipe on this list with just two ingredients! Place frozen peaches in a blender, top with wine, blend (then top with more wine!)
A wonderful light and sweet addition to your cocktail repertoire, this grasshopper cocktail might even become a staple after dinner drink. You might as well make a space for your Vitamix right on your counter (if you haven’t already) so you can whip up this and other drinks in no time!
This blended drink is perfect for Valentine’s day or for a romantic night in. This recipe calls for raspberry rum, white cream de cocoa, and some half and half. Toss in your Vitamix and blend with ice. Top with fresh raspberries and chocolate shavings for a decadent treat.
Ginger, in addition to having some amazing health benefits, goes great in many drinks (hello Moscow Mule!) Gin is one of those kinds of liquors that you love or hate, did someone day pine trees? But this recipe just might change your mind if you are not a gin fan. This drink combines honey liquor, gin, honey, strawberries, some lime juice, and fresh ginger to make an amazing beverage with a complex flavor!
From Vitamix themselves, this mojito is sure to wet your whistle. Place some ice into a highball glass, place remaining ingredients into the Vitamix and blend. Strain and place into the highball glass, top with club soda and garnish with a spring of mint.
This is another fun drink that the original recipe did not include alcohol, but we all know that pretty much any drink can be made better with vodka (or rum…). This drink was blowing up Instagram when it first came out with its adorable pink hue. Take some fresh strawberries, sugar, acai green tea (that makes it kinda good for you, right…?), ice and coconut milk. Add your choice of boozy goodness, I would suggest a strawberry vodka or Tequila Rose, and you got yourself a delicious drink reminiscent of a strawberry starburst.
Cocktails in shakers are cool but why not make some in your Vitamix?
