Can You Substitute the Candy With Real Watermelon?

Although we are huge fans of the sour watermelon candy on top you may not be, so another great option – besides another candy, is real watermelon pieces. That’s right! REAL watermelon.

Cut small pieces, or consider using small cookie cutters and cut them into fun shapes and place on top! You can also skip the fruit and candy all together and add just a little sugar around the rims of each shot glass!

You can really get away with many options – even omitting garnish all together!

Make Delicious Non-Alcoholic Watermelon Jello Shots

If you plan to have guests that are underage or they prefer not to drink alcohol, consider serving a batch of non-alcoholic watermelon jello shots. It’s super simple to turn these into non-alcoholic jello shots.

All you need to do is remove your watermelon liquor and replace it with watermelon juice! 1 cup for each layer while making. This will give off a nice sweet watermelon taste without alcohol in it.

Ensure you place them on a different tray and label so people are aware which is which! Enjoy!
