Delicious Strawberry Tequila Soda

Nothing says summertime like a delicious cold soda that refreshes you instantly. Make that cold soda way better by mixing it with fresh strawberries and your favorite tequila. No tequila based cocktail is complete without some lime! Grab some fun straws and tons of ice and you have yourself the best soda ever! Trust us, we know your friends and family will be blown away with how tasty this soda is.

Alternative Options Four Your Soda

Tonic Water: Not everyone is a fan of tonic water so if you prefer sparkling water or soda water use that instead. It will add more of a fizzy taste but won’t change the flavor profile too much.

Fruit: Another alternative is fruit – basically you can toss in any fruit you wish to this mix. Make it a berry delight by adding some blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries. Or make one with each different fruit and taste test to select the best one! Have some fun with it.

Frozen Fruit: If you want your drink to have a nice slushy taste consider using frozen strawberries instead of fresh! It will still have a very fruity flavor but will act as ice as well creating a slushy, cool, and ultimately super refreshing drink.

How about a Strawberry Soda Mocktail

We love having a mocktail version available – obviously for this one you are removing the main flavor but you can easily swap it for non-alcoholic tequila or simply add more tonic, soda water, or sparkling water instead. Another option is using ginger ale of 7up in place of the tequila. Place with it and pick your favorite to serve to those guests not drinking or underage.

Strawberry Tequila Soda Recipe

‌Ingredients

• 1/4 Cup Strawberries
• 2oz Tonic Water
• 1oz Tequila
• 1/2 Lime (Juiced)
• Ice
• Garnish: Fresh Strawberries and lime slices.

Instructions

1. Squeeze the lime juice into the glass you will be serving the cocktail on.
2. Muddle the strawberries in the lime juice.

3. Add the ice cubes.

4. Pour in the tequila.

5. Top off with tonic water.

6. Garnish with strawberries and lime slices.
