Tips for Making Champagne Jello Shots

Making your champagne jello shots are super simple, simply melt your gelatin packets with your water on the stove top until fully liquid. Typical gelatin packages call for 2 cups of water per package, however since we are adding champagne you will be adding less water.

After you mix in your champagne and simple syrup, let it set and sprinkle with your edible gold glitter! Keeping in mind the gold glitter will eventually bleed into your shots, so to keep them looking extra festive on top ensure you don’t add them until you are ready to serve or reapply. This is a straight forward jello shot recipe, that has just the right sparkle for a festive occasion.

Entertaining With Jello Shots

These Jello shots work for any celebration – birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, bachelorette parties, weddings or other holidays are all great occasions for a jello shot. Gold glitter can work for any theme party but you can also buy other edible glitter colors. Think red and green for Christmas, green for St. Patrick’s day, and basically any color will work for birthdays and weddings. If you want to add a little more flavor to these, try 1 tsp of lemon juice to your champagne and simple sugar recipe.

For the color and sparkle to really show, you’ll want clear condiment cups that show off the glitter, not white or semi-opaque ones.
