Strawberry Milkshake Cocktail

Creamy, fruity, and oh so delicious! Our Strawberry Milkshake Cocktail is highly additive you may just have to make a large batch! Strawberries and cream baileys, whiskey, and strawberry ice cream as your main ingredients you know this one’s going to be a huge hit. Garnish with some whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and some fun sprinkles and you have the most delicious boozy milkshake. Check out how to create yours below!

Mixing up a Strawberry Milkshake Cocktail

Before you get started ensure you have a good blender for this one! You will need it to blend your baileys, whiskey, and ice cream together before adding the rest of our ingredients. If you find at any point your milkshake is too thick (though is that ever a bad thing) you can easily add more creamer, or if you don’t want to add more sugary stuff just add some regular milk. It won’t change the flavor much and will help thin out your milkshake. You can also use some more baileys or whiskey if you feel like making it a little stronger.

Substitutions for Your Strawberry Milkshake

Sometimes you find yourself in the middle of mixing up a delicious cocktail and suddenly realizing you don’t have an ingredient or you just can’t find that ingredient when shopping. Don’t worry we are all about having a few substitution ideas for you JUST in case this happens. First off one of the main ingredients we use is Bailey’s strawberries and cream. If for whatever reason you can’t find this or would rather not buy a full bottle (even though it’s amazing and you really should) you can use regular baileys and add heavy cream and strawberry milk to it to get the extra creamy and strawberry flavor.

Another substitution suggestion is for our white chocolate creamer, sometimes creamers aren’t always year around. some are seasonal and not available throughout the whole year. Depending where you are maybe you can’t track down white chocolate creamer. You can easily replace this with regular cream and add some melted white chocolate or just stick with creamer. If you end up melting some white chocolate consider adding some pieces on top as a fun little garnish as well!

Lastly, strawberry ice cream. Obviously this one is always around but it you happen to want to make this cocktail and realize you only have vanilla, no worries! You can mix in strawberry syrup or real strawberries blended up with vanilla ice cream. It will create a very similar flavor!
