Candy Bar Cocktail: A Warm and Festive ‘Hot’ Cocktail!

I don’t know about you, but this is easily one of my favorite go-to chocolate bars. This cocktail combines the best of a hot chocolate, a crisp Kit Kat chocolate bar, and the perfect blend of liqueur and Irish cream. Bailey’s fans, this is a boozy hot chocolate recipe you do not want to miss out on!

The best part of this cocktail? (Besides the Kit Kat pieces, of course!) You can use your favorite brand of hot chocolate mix!

Adult Hot Chocolate Recipe for 2

It’s simple and easy to put these together, and it all starts with your favorite hot chocolate! Personally, I recommend Nestle Turtles hot cocoa mix, although a milk chocolate blend should do the trick, too! The purpose of using a lighter hot chocolate is so you don’t overpower either the liquer, or the Kit Kat flavor itself.

Boozy Hot Cocoa Toppings

In this recipe we recommend using a caramel sauce, which compliments the caramel liqueur nicely. That being said, there’s no reason you can’t also incorporate some kit kat pieces into your drink too! There’s a couple ways you could go about doing it.

First, you could crush the candy bar in a sealable bag, and sprinkle it on top. Alternatively, you could shave pieces of it off to create visually intriguing chocolate swirls and shavings on top of the cocktail.

Wafers would also be a great choice for an alternative topping if you’re looking for a bit of that ‘crunch’ that makes Kit Kats so irresistible! Now that you’re all stocked up on inspiration, check out this Kit Kat hot chocolate recipe below!
