How to Make the Perfect Spooky Layered Shot 

These jeepers creepers jello shots require a couple layers and some downtime in between, but don’t worry these are totally worth the wait! 

Start with your green layer, allowing it to fully set before adding your black layer. Follow our complete instructions below for the best results!

Jeepers Creepers Jello Shot Recipe

Yield: 14 2 oz condiment cups
Prep Time: 10 min
Chill Time: 2 hours
Total Time: 2 hours 10 min

Ingredients:

Green layer

• 3 oz Lime Jello mix
• 1 cup boiling water
• ½ cup cold water
• ½ cup Sour Apple Schnapps

Black Layer

• 3 oz Grape Jello mix
• 3 Drops Black Food Coloring
• 1 cup boiling water
• ½ cup cold water
• ½ cup Spiced Rum

Cookie Crumble Layer:

• Chocolate cookies (crushed up)
• Candy eyes

Directions:

1. Place the green Jello powder in a medium mixing bowl.
2. Add 1 cup boiling water to the Jello powder, and whisk to combine.
3. Add the cold water and chilled vodka.
4. Whisk to combine.
5. Fill each plastic cup halfway full with Green jello.
6. Place the cups in the fridge and chill until the jello is just about set, about 1 hour.

Black Layer Directions:

1. Place the grape Jello mix powder in a medium mixing bowl.
2. Add 1 cup boiling water to the Jello powder and whisk to combine.
3. Add the cold water and chilled Spiced Rum.
4. Whisk to combine.
5. Sit to the side for 30 minutes to reach room temperature.
6. Remove the Jello plastic cups from the fridge and carefully pour the black jello over the green jello.
7. Return the jello cups to the fridge and chill until completely set, at least 1-2 hours

Crumble Top Directions:

1. Once your jelloy shots are set layer each jello shot with your chocolate cookie crumble
2. One each shot has enough cookie crumble place your candy eyes on each shot
3. Serve and enjoy!
