One of the many things I love to do in the summer is host a barbeque. It is a great time with friends and family. Making the punch bowl for the kids is super easy, but coming up with something just for the adults is what I tend to struggle with. Lemonade is great but spiked lemonade is better. Today I’m sharing a Raspberry Lemonade Cocktail recipe that is perfect for summer get together.

Frozen Fruit or Fresh Fruit

In this recipe, you can use fresh or dozen peaches and raspberries. While choosing frozen or fresh is not going to make or break this recipe, it is a matter of preference.

Fresh fruit has a variety of benefits such as high nutritional value, sweeter flavors, and can be cheaper than frozen when it is in season.

While fresh fruit does offer a high nutritional value, frozen fruit is not depleted of nutrients. Frozen fruits are beneficial in these types of drinks because they give you that thick, cold smoothie texture. However, they may not be as sweet as fresh fruit.

Try making this drink with fresh fruit and frozen fruit and see which one you prefer.
