History of the Seabreeze Cocktail

Although the Seabreeze cocktail is a common drink, it comes with a rich history and has changed quite a bit throughout the years.

The cocktail originated in the late 1920s, however, the recipe wasn’t quite what it is today. Instead of using vodka, the recipe used gin and grenadine. In the 1930s, it changed again to use gin, apricot brandy, grenadine, and lemon juice. It wasn’t until the 70s that the Seabreeze reached its popularity and began incorporating Vodka with sweet and sour juices.

However, like all cocktails, there are many different ways to make them depending on what type of drink you are looking for.
