Cucumber Melon Cocktail Ingredients

This recipe makes 1 cocktail. It only takes 4-ingredients to make. Here’s what you need:

2-4 slices cucumber
3-4 oz Lemon Lime Soda (Sprite)

What Vodka Should I Use?

What I love about Vodka is that they have some of the weirdest Vodka flavors you’ve ever heard of, and its amazing for making new cocktails! And, as you can tell, you can even get a melon flavored vodka. For this recipe, we used Le Melon by Grey Goose. However, you could use Smirnoff or something similar. As long as it has melon in it, you are good to go!

Can I Use Something Other Than Sprite?

For this recipe, we used Sprite, but if you prefer another lemon lime soda, you can use that as well. Generic works just as well as Sprite.

Additionally, if you are like me and tend to start feeling sleepy after a couple drinks, you can use the new Mountain Dew iCE. This new creation has the lemon lime flavor of Sprite with the caffeine pick me up of Mountain Dew! It’s a great way to keep yourself awake, alert, and ready to party!

Recipe For Cucumber Melon Cocktail

This recipe is really easy to make. In fact, you can have your feet propped up and sipping your cocktail in about 2-minutes flat. Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Fill a glass of your choice with ice and add your melon vodka.

Step 2: Then, add a couple cucumber slices.

Step 3: Next, fill the rest of the glass with your lemon lime soda.

Step 4: Garnish with another slice of cucumber.

A Little Tip

One tip I have learned in making cocktails is to muddle the cucumbers, berries etc. If you want a little more of a cucumber taste, you can muddle the cucumber when you put it in your glass. To do this, simply press the cucumber to the side of the glass with a spoon. This will give you more of a cucumber taste as well as help the cucumber absorb the alcohol. It’s a win win.
