This Boozy Pineapple Lemonade makes 8 servings so its perfect for a small group, and can easily be doubled. Lemonade is a great thirst quencher, but with a little pineapple, summer is kicked in to full spring.
Boozy Pineapple Lemonade Ingredients
- 2 cups cubed pineapple (keep a few cubes for garnish)
- 5 lemons (4 juiced and 1 for garnish)
- 1/4 sugar
- 1 cup vodka
- 2 cups water
- Ice
Can I Use Pre-made Lemonade?
Obviously, juicing lemons can be a little time consuming. If you want to use pre-made lemonade instead, you can. However, keep in mind that fresh always tastes better than pre-made stuff. To adjust the recipe, you would use 3-4 cups of lemonade, take out the water and sugar. Even if you don’t juice the lemons, you will still want some to garnish your drink with.
What Vodka Should I Use?
Since this is a cocktail, you don’t have to have top of the shelf vodka. I would suggest using whatever vodka you prefer. My favorite when choosing vodka is Grey Goose or Smirnoff. If you want to get a little fancy with your cocktail, you could always try some flavored vodka as well.
For a more lemony flavor, you could use Absolut Citron Vodka. If you want more of a pineapple flavor, you can use Pinnacle Pineapple Vodka.
I would suggest making 3-different batches. This way your guests can choose what they like.Â
